August 26 - Until I Am Whole

This isn't the album about loneliness, but this is very much a song about being alone in the sense of not wanting to subject other people to yourself.

I've had that moment. When I first moved to Cambridge I was apart from my wife for several months, and I urgently wanted to be nowhere near anyone. Well, not anyone. I urgently wanted to be near someone who was thousands of miles away and I didn't want the rest of the world.

It's not a great feeling, and sometimes the loneliness heals you, but sometimes it just freezes the pain.
